Tutor Training

Our in-house training for potential Tutors explains how lifelong learning methods guide someone’s self-directed learning when they use Emotional Logic’s learning materials.

If you do not currently have a valid teaching qualification, we direct you also to a standard ‘Preparation to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector’ course (PTLLS) at a local College of Further Education. This usually runs for ten evenings over three months.

Our in-house training lasts three days, which can be spread over time, or taken as a residential course. Further days focus on practical and organisational features of telephone mentoring, workshop leading for up to sixteen people, running Personal Learning Appointments with an individual and a couple, and leading small Learning Groups for up to eight people.

There are practical and written assessments. A pass is not guaranteed. You qualify as a member of our Emotional Logic Tutor College. This confers an annual renewable License to teach Emotional Logic at Core or Advanced Levels with an annual Career Development Appraisal.

Once we know that you can effectively guide people to learn the basics of Emotional Logic, you are free to develop new learning materials appropriate to areas of special interest to you.
