Moving through EL-SH and on to EL-UH
When you join a Learning Club you make a commitment to attend ten or twelve sessions, like an adult education class, each lasting an hour and a half, or perhaps two hours. These will probably be weekly, but may inlcude gaps for holidays and so on, usually as agreed by the participants.
The learning builds up from week to week, so you cannot start half-way through, or just dip in and out. You will get no benefit yourself, and you will disrupt other people's learning. If that sounds tough, well... yes, but the benefits are fantastic. We are convinced that this really is the best way to learn Emotional Logic, because you practice the language tools with others. You get to know each other well, and mostly the groups are great fun. Some have continued after the agreed time as friendship and support groups.
You will learn the five self-help principles:
In addition, you will learn how to recognise when loss emotions are getting entangled with each other and produce 'whirlpools of emotion', as we call them. These whirlpools of emotion can cause distress and tension, and create many relationship problems. In a Learning Club you will discover how to be relaxed, and a resource person to others, while they learn to help themselves out of these snags.
The programme is very variable, depending on who is in the Club.
